A little background info.......

Hello and Welcome to The Rydon Inn! As of the 25th June 2012, the ownership of this beautiful old Devon Long House/ Pub changed hands. We the Prouse family are now the very proud owners of The Rydon Inn and are very excited to welcome you in sharing our journey in our new venture. Heather & David Prouse are the heart & soul behind the scenes, Richard Prouse and Sophie Glaze are our new managers with the rest of the Prouse family involved making this very much a family affair. Of course your dining experience wouldn’t be complete without staff behind those Kitchen doors and out front including our very creative and clever chefs Sarah Sharpe & William Mann plus the hard working force
that make up the team.

Our garden is transforming gradually with the help and skills of our gardener Graham, who you may see pottering around working towards landscaped gardens for everybody to enjoy.

This building has seen many changes over its life time starting off as a Farm House owned by the Moore family, it has also been a theme park with a ride on train before becoming a pub/restaurant and we are the third lucky owners to take it on. We are researching into its history as if you are anything like us we find it fascinating.
